Covid-19 Preventative Measures

To our students and their families,

In response to the community concerns regarding Covid-19, Budget Driving School is taking great measures to assure the health and safety of our students and our instructors. Our online drivers education will continue as usual. We have chosen to suspend classroom drivers education until further notice. Our behind-the-wheel training lessons will be limited as state regulations evolve. In the case that CDC or local Health Department requests otherwise, we will contact you with further instruction. If your student has enrolled in classroom drivers education and you would prefer that they complete our online classes please call or email us to have them registered at no added cost to you.

In preparation for looser state regulations in the near future, we have implemented precautionary measures for our behind-the-wheel training lessons to help protect both our students and instructors. Our instructors and students are required to wear protective masks while in the car. Protective gloves will be offered to students before entering the car. We are using disinfectant products on all common surfaces in the car before each lesson and will offer hand sanitizer to students before and after their lessons. We are also educating our instructors on best practices recommended by the CDC for preventative action.

In an effort to keep our students, instructors, and our community healthy, we ask that our students reschedule for any of the following reasons:

  • Student is experiencing or has experienced fever or flu like symptoms within the past 14 days
  • Student has traveled oversees in the past 14 days
  • Student has been exposed to known patients with Covid-19

If any of the aforementioned circumstances relate to you, or you feel the need to reschedule for precautionary measures, please contact our office immediately.

Sincerely,

Budget Driving School
